EMBROIDERED PORTRAIT OF PRESIDENT HO CHI MINH
The portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, gifted to the Party Cell of Hong Nam Commune for use in ceremonial occasions
This embroidered portrait of President Ho Chi Minh was a special gift from the Party Committee of Western Tri Thien to the local Party cells. The Party Cell of Hong Nam Commune was honored to receive this portrait of the beloved leader.
The portrait was used by the Party Cell to adorn the most prominent place during meetings, ceremonies for admitting new Party members, and youth union members. In 1969, when President Ho Chi Minh passed away, the portrait was respectfully displayed in a sacred space during the memorial ceremony.
After the mourning period, the portrait was carefully preserved and only displayed during important events.
In 1998, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of A Luoi Town (formerly Hong Nam Commune) transferred the portrait to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue to ensure its preservation and to highlight its historical value.
